My personal 3 dimensional flame airbrushed JT30. I put in a very hot CM for one certain amp I have that needs the
super bright drive this element has.
above: A1 element for Jay "Lips" Shermer.
Slowly recovering some lost mic pictures, but there are some very very cool ones still missing. Here are some new
ones.
Below:
I raffled this mic off at the 8th Annual San Diego Spring Harp Festival '07. All proceeds went to the music program for
the local Girls Club. Next year will be an amp and mic combo.
Warren Zevon's cousin, Charlie, let me fix up his dad's rare and mint condition Astatic 600.
Charlie's dad was a famous musician on cruise liners before his famous nephew was even born. This mic means alot to
Charlie because music was his father's lifetime job and it was a pleasure to clean it up and fix the corroded wires.
After all these years the original crystal element was still very hot like a mint 151.
below:
The once stock and worthless Torpedo Mic.....well, I've modded many of these and now they're a real grinding
harp mic. They keep building this junk and I keep fixing them....hmmm. seems like job security to me. lol
For Steve Strangline in Nashville. A1 element.
